Back and raring to go with 4 races from lovely chester, if theres one course i want to visit its this one but for now will have to put up with the t.v. heres our picks for thursday.
1.45 MACRET WIN STRICTLY SILVER E/WAY. both ran well on returns and should come on from them, rate highly with me and both attractive prices at the mo. macret 6/1 and s.silver 11/1.
2.15 NOBLE MISSION WIN. HIGHLAND KNIGHT E/WAY. a repeat of n.missions demolition last time should see him take this. h.knight looks more at ease on grass and a return to group level may prove easier than handicaps if that makes sense, last time out ran well but mainly they were all on level weights, previous few h.caps he had to concede alot of weight so this sphere should suit. lets hope he doesnt let me down.
2.45. SCOTLAND WIN. STARS OVER THE SEA. i tipped scotland on his reappearance and he went well, should come on for that. stars over the sea has the course specialist franny norton in the hot seat ran well last time and looks like this extra distance will suit.
3.15 CAPTAIN BOB WIN. EDGE E/WAY. edge is currently 28/1 which may put you off but not without a sniff, won here 2 starts back and second has gone ok off a mark of 80 so a mark today of 81 looks lenient. difficult race to rate and would be a little cautious.
