Another nice winner yesterday with uncle brit doing it nicely at 9/2,  but in some ways i had more pleasure with the run of moxley. as i posted he was unfancied but there was reason to think he would go well and so he did, must admit heart was in mouth entering final furlong and he was in the lead but just tied up come the end and finished a brilliant 3rd. went off 50/1 and i know at least one of you had it e/way so some nice profit for you, me i did it on the nose but although i lost it was as im sure you will agree a decent pick. ok on with wednesdays picks and ive 3 races from lingfield.

i have just the one race today from southwell, some of you may have read old posts of mine stating my reluctance to advise from here but i have put in alot of work trying to include in my tips and this is my first from here in a long time. it takes a completely different style of analysis so lets see how we get on with this one.

hasnt been the greatest set of races this week and had a bit of a dip in results for a change, tommorows cards arnt much better and im only advising one selection. the poor weather seems to be playing a part this week and tommorow at nottingham although listed as good ground will probably change to soft even heavy later on so dont be surprised to see another glut of non runners. hopefully this one will run and although hasnt been tried on this surface dam has good form on soft ground. also very unexposed and looks to be crying out for a mile. has a 3lb pull which is crucial this time of year for 3 year olds. we will see.

Updated and totted up august figures and even with the poor end to the month im still +24.59 L.S.P. for my win picks and even the e/ways are showing a small profit. so although it ended poorly it goes down as a great month again and win picks are in profit for the 5th consecutive month. Strike rate almost hit the magical 30% and without that poor run the last 10 days it could have been massive but im not complaining with a profit at £10 stakes of £245.90, thats a rolling L.S.P. since april of +78.65 points (£786.50 to £10 stakes). long may it continue.

Great day yesterday with two winners from my win list and another win from the e/way selections. started brilliantly with short squeeze getting his head infront in the last strides in the big handicap from york at odds of 8/1. silverrica provided another winner from bath at odds of 7/2 and how about my place selection tapestry upsetting taghrooda in the big one from york. as i posted he had the best profile behind the winner but still surprised it won at odds of 8/1 was as big as 12s early doors. i had a e/way accumulator with my 3 win picks and tapestry so you can imagine how i felt going into the last from bath with a possible £1100 on the line and for a fleeting moment i thought cataria girl was going to do it but didnt get the last furlong. still a very profitable day was had and win picks are at a healthy profit of 45.00 points L.S.P.for the month.

This months figures are potentially the best of a great flat season so far. totted up and august is in profit by +41.01 points L.S.P. That makes a rolling profit since april of +95.07 points. thats £950 quid in your pocket to £10 stakes. will be hoping to finish this month as strongly as it began.

Two more winners yesterday and made up for a quiet thursday. started well with shared equity winning very nicely (6/1) and next up was guishan scoring well (7/2). i had a treble with these two and beep from the 5.30 newbury so you can imagine how i felt when he was right there with a furlong to go but just failed by a couple of lengths. as i stated in post he was encountering better conditions and his price plummeted during the day, when posted you could have had 18/1 but s/pd at just 6/1. anyway all in all a great day and profits are soaring with win picks up +42.0 points L.S.P. for this month. lets see if these selections can push towards the 50 mark.

After a great last 3 months july proved to be a more up and down month and finished just in profit with a L.S.P. of +0.25 so nowt to shout about but even after a difficult month still avoided a negative. august has started well and hope to get back on track. overall the flat season since april has a rolling profit for win selections of +54.06 which is fantastic and more than happy with. onward and upward.

As the title suggest today could have been a much better day, had the one winner with desert ranger, both gabrial the duke and enriching placed, corn maiden almost held on and in the 2.20 again both selections placed but outdone by another. frustrating but at least they all were in with a chance, when your picks consistently get hammered then its time to re-evaluate. on another day they would all fly home.
ok tomorrow is proving difficult and certainly wont be able to put any daytime picks, please pop back later p.m. for evening selections.

3RD MONTH OF PROFIT IN A ROW.

Very pleased with the latest monthly figures for june. for the 3rd month in a row we have hit profit and great profit at that. level stakes profit hit +22.63 points making it the best of the season. at £10 stakes you would have made £226.30 profit on my win selections. e/ways are a little down at -5.07 points. strike rates are good for both but although i had many e/ways placing didnt get enough winning to make a profit. win picks struck a s.rate of 25% which is more than acceptable. since april win picks are making a culmalative profit of 53.81 L.S.P. thats £538.10 profit at £10 stakes. you can view these results in depth on my dedicated monthly figures page. long may it continue.

SELECTIONS 01.07.14.

Ended the month with another two winners yesterday. got a forecast in the first not the way i predicted but a one two all the same with el bravo (9/2) winning followed home by flag of glory (5/1). yet again look at the early prices when i posted that you could have had them at, el bravo 8/1 and flag of glory a massive 16/1. our other winner came in the 3rd race with stepping out winning well at 3/1. i will be updating my months figs in the morning but safe to say we have achieved another months profit with my win selections, the 3rd month in a row since april this has been achieved.
on we go to july and may it long continue. i have 4 races today all from brighton.

WON AND LOST IN A BLINK.

At one point i thought i had the first 2 winners yesterday started well with al khan scoring at 7/2 and believed i had the 3.30 from newcastle with baraweez but later when checking prices thought i was seeing things, the result had been reversed and baraweez was demoted to second what a choker. thats how it goes but really wanted a cat or dog around when i saw it as i fancied kicking something up the arse.
anyway i have no chance of putting fridays picks up just havnt had time tonight. i will be home early p.m. so will post what i can but apprieciate it may be a little late for some of you, sorry but thats the best i can do on this occassion.

Another two winners yesterday from just the three races advised. firstly gabrial the duke scored at 2/1 and that was closely followed by perfect mission winning at 4/1. win selections at present 14 points in profit, e/ways have just slipped into negative. lets see how we get on with this lot today coming from carlisle and newcastle.

To have both in profit is very encouraging but its those win picks that im really interested in and hopefully we can be in profit for the 3rd month in a row.

Two winners yesterday with strictly silver 4/1 and token love 7/4 scoring. place money with one pekan and shore step placing. however did have a large egg thrown at me with wannabe king running no sort of race, i really fancied him but it seems recent form is his current form and the excuses i believed were there proved a negative. a large part of my selection process is based on what i consider worthwhile excuses for seemingly poor runs but doesnt always come off lol. having said that i had the same reasons for choosing ex oriente and although he didnt win he did run a good 3rd thats racing keeps you on your toes.

The seventh nice priced winner of the month came today in the 4.45 from thirsk with dolphin village doing the business at great odds of 10/1. also flycatcher gave us another one scoring at 13/8. as i posted earlier he did shorten considerably from 4/1 to s/p 13/8 so depends if and when you backed it but a wins a win as they say.

Royal ascot is upon us already and should be a fantastic days racing from there. i have two races from ascot and three from thirsk. as i mentioned in a earlier post yesterday gave us yet another big price winner the sixth so far this month with diamond lady scoring at great odds of 20/1. really fancied him to go well and so he did. ok on with todays free picks.

Another great priced winner yesterday with baltys boys scoring at an s/p of 8/1. when i posted he was a massive 22/1 and even this morning you could get 14/1 on him, alot of last money came in. always thought he had great chance. that was to be the solitary win but will take those everyday. with gung ho on tuesday thats put us back in profit and hope to continue with todays picks from hamilton.

yet again another month in profit with my win selections which is very pleasing, unlike last month my place picks have fallen short but will note my strike rate is good just not enough race winners. my win pick strike rate isnt as good as id like, some of you may be happy with 20% but i want it nearer 30%. on average i submit approx 5-6 selections so 20% would equate to one a day but i want at least two. still cant grumble profit is profit and follows on well from last month which was an exceptional month given the time of season. any comments you have will be gratefully recieved.

Many apologies for no selections today, ive been under the weather the last few days and hit hard last night. never even watched a race today so i must be bad. i did mention in a previous post that i would post my months figs and will get to that tomorrow all being well. there is a flat meet from nottingham sunday but mainly 3 year old handicaps and maidens so will by pass that. looking forward to a new week and new month and hope to see another month of profit. speak soon.

Couple of nice winners yesterday with ivors princess scoring at 7/1drifted right out from 7/2 when posted.next was one pursuit going in at odds of 4/1. also a bit of place money back with vicky valentine a replacement getting second at 4/1. i will be updating the last few days results later but its looking like another great months profits with the win selections, rough tot up and around +18.0 points up to level stakes. follows on well from last month. as i say will catch up my results pages and post exactly. ok on with 2days picks.
