Great day yesterday with two winners from my win list and another win from the e/way selections. started brilliantly with short squeeze getting his head infront in the last strides in the big handicap from york at odds of 8/1. silverrica provided another winner from bath at odds of 7/2 and how about my place selection tapestry upsetting taghrooda in the big one from york. as i posted he had the best profile behind the winner but still surprised it won at odds of 8/1 was as big as 12s early doors. i had a e/way accumulator with my 3 win picks and tapestry so you can imagine how i felt going into the last from bath with a possible £1100 on the line and for a fleeting moment i thought cataria girl was going to do it but didnt get the last furlong. still a very profitable day was had and win picks are at a healthy profit of 45.00 points L.S.P.for the month.

Kingston hill was a late withdrawal which was a shame, really wanted to see him run and back up the derby run but wasnt to be. so just the three on the end and another winner with gambino prevailing at 11/4 so another point in profit for the day. i need to update my results page and will post a progress report for the month but will be around 40 points profit so potentially the best of a so far great turf season. onwards to today and i have 4 races for you and have included the big class 2 h.cap from york.
YORK 3.05 SHORT SQUEEZE WIN(8/1)  RED AVENGER E/WAY(10/1).Huge field and you may want to back e/way, me im going for it, short squeeze really interest me and may drift in the market.

YORK 3.40 TAGHROODA WIN(1/4)  TAPESTRY E/WAY(12/1) Taghrooda offers no value but she certainly was when i had her at 7/2. if its value you want then tapestry could be the one to be on.she ran a belter at leopardstown in the irish oaks with volume finishing half a length back but she was 4 lengths behind taghrooda in a earlier race. really cant see taghrooda losing this one and should romp it but tapestry offers the best of the rest.

Todays turf racing is very light on the ground and i only have the one race today which makes a change. there are a couple im interested in from the evening meet from windsor but far too early to post as its poss the ground conditions could change with rain expected.

open eagle may look a strange one but last time out was a far higher grade than this one, 2 and 3 back runs were epsom and chester which can always be forgiven. im taken back to the win last sept and the good follow up run next time. mark has actually dropped a pound for a 3 length win. looks too good to ignore and rates top. price could well drift as i can see alot of dosh coming in for alex vino.

FIGS SO FAR.

This months figures are potentially the best of a great flat season so far. totted up and august is in profit by +41.01 points L.S.P. That makes a rolling profit since april of +95.07 points. thats £950 quid in your pocket to £10 stakes. will be hoping to finish this month as strongly as it began.

Two more winners yesterday and made up for a quiet thursday. started well with shared equity winning very nicely (6/1) and next up was guishan scoring well (7/2). i had a treble with these two and beep from the 5.30 newbury so you can imagine how i felt when he was right there with a furlong to go but just failed by a couple of lengths. as i stated in post he was encountering better conditions and his price plummeted during the day, when posted you could have had 18/1 but s/pd at just 6/1. anyway all in all a great day and profits are soaring with win picks up +42.0 points L.S.P. for this month. lets see if these selections can push towards the 50 mark.

WOLVERHAMPTON 4.15 FAJRY WIN(7/1)  ORIONS BOW(11/4). fajry is a really interesting one here, ran well 2 starts back and was undone by a poor draw at the notorius beverly last time out. its the breeding that pulls me, from usa stock and are as we know renowned for dirt horses, top yard who usually do well with these types, guess is he has been purchased for these sorts of races. 7/1 at present but dont be surprised to see him shorten.

Yet another bunch of winners yesterday, 2 from my place picks and the one from win selections. the win selection was dream spirit 9/2 which kept it in profit for the day, the two place picks were clon brulee (11/4) and rene mathis (7/4) he didnt offer too much in the end but you could of had him as big as 4/1 when posted. i have just the two races today and lets see if the week can end as it begun.

Another great day of profit with two more winners. started with compton park taking the 4.10 from haydock at 7/1. next was borough boy winning at odds of 4/1. quibtee went well but didnt quite get there but all in all another great days profit. that brings this months L.S.P. to around 36.0 points certainly one of the best starts to a month that i can remember long may it continue. here we go with tommorrows free picks.

Yet another great today with 2 winners and the other pick initial pick a n/runner. started with rocket ship winning at a canter and that was followed up with lady frances doing the business in the last. just totted up this month so far and although early days it seems we are back on track after a reasonably quiet previous month. so far win picks are in profit by +26.00 points L.S.P. broken down i have supplied 15 picks and found 10 winners at a strike rate of 66% will it continue? lets hope so.

JULYS FIGURES.

After a great last 3 months july proved to be a more up and down month and finished just in profit with a L.S.P. of +0.25 so nowt to shout about but even after a difficult month still avoided a negative. august has started well and hope to get back on track. overall the flat season since april has a rolling profit for win selections of +54.06 which is fantastic and more than happy with. onward and upward.

another 2 winners today with sultanina (11/2) a  very impressive winner in the 3.15 from goodwood, gabrial the hero (5/2) won the 5.15 from newmarket doing it nicely. selections from the 4.05 & 4.40 were all non runners so just the three races but profit again to follow up on yesterday.

Ended with the three races yesterday after the late withdrawal of calendonia, but a great day all the same with 2 winners and a little place money. started with encke running a blinder after a long absence placing 2nd, then a perfect forecast in the next with wannabe yours(7/1) winning and place pick hors de combat(9/2)following him home. mushir then gave us another prevailing at (11/8). nice start to the month and on we go with sats picks.
