2 from 4 today, CONSISTENT started off the day well coming in at 11/4 was at one point 4/1. then we had SIR CHARLIE KUNZ victorious which to be honest was as close a shoe in than most h.caps you"ll see. PERSIAN PATRIOT almost got my trixie but lost it at the finish and coming 2nd. DANCE FOR GEORGIE was a let down and expected more, looks to be at its limit now. e/way selections didnt show. there will be no racing tips tommorrow as only fixture is southwell and for those of you that dont know thats the only track i dont do, complete lottery there, good to watch but thats the safest bet just watch. will be back with wed selections.

Hi not the worst day yesterday, alben star came in nicely, sewn up placed as advised, not much to shout about in the last three unfortunately but how about uncle bernie in the 3.30 advised as a place selection, i was amazed he was such a big price considering this was his first run back at its best trip since a narrow defeat at the end of last year, almost got up to win at massive odds but at least it gleaned some nice place money, i had him at 25/1 and finished at 20/1. anyway onto tommorrow heres your selections.

HATE HARD LUCK STORIES

i never try and offer excuses, to me a;ways sounds a little desperate but on this occassion i have to say FRUIT PASTILLE in the 1.30 really did have no luck, just watched the rerun and was so badly hampered. completely squeezed out by the eventual winner, was running on again but the damage was done, thats racing.GREY MIRAGE was a non runner in the 3.05 and georgian bay never showed up after an impressive win last time out. FINAL DELIVERY my pick of the day is also a non runner in the 4.30 from wolverhamton so hopes pinned on do more business. ive had more enjoyable days.

multitask almost got us to a great start yesterday just failing, but java rose got us into profit for the day winning at 7/1 was as short as 4/1 at the beginning of the day but money was coming for the fave and drifted nicely. ok heres our choices for today best of luck.
LING 1.30 FRUIT PASTILLE WIN. CHARLIES MATE E/WAY. both of these come into this off of maidens and i calculate them to be on very good marks, charlie showed much better last time currently 25/1 and may well shorten.
LING 2.00. KUANYAO WIN. no place bet here.
LING 3.05 GEORGIAN BAY E/WAY.  GREY MIRAGE E/WAY. both equal chances, grey mirage is drawn wide which puts me off a little, if price shortens for georgian bay you may want to chance him to win, but personally not quite enough for me here to do outright win bet.
WOLVES 4.30. FINAL DELIVERY WIN.  DO MORE BUSINESS E/WAY. really like the chances of f.delivery, much better last time out and has been dropped a couple of pounds.

KEMP 6.30 JAVA ROSE WIN.  ALL THE WINDS E/WAY all the winds can finally get into a race more to his level, been flying a little high of late, currently at 12/1.
KEMP 7.00 BAINNE E/WAY. JAY BEE BLUE E/WAY. both these great long shots around 25/1. bainne has run well in ireland and win last time has been franked and really comes out highly on my ratings, may need the run but one to keep an eye on. jay bee blue has been running well of late, lto was a tad to high in class and again comes out with a top rating. myopinion would be keep an eye on bainne may well shorten

1.30 HIGHLY LIKELY WIN. EL LIBERATOR E/WAY. highly likely had a poor summer on the turf a return to polytrack will suit, can go fresh and has the top pilot booked. el liberator has run poorly last 2 but needs an easy lead and i dont see much pace on here so could get things its own way, ran well 3 back under those conditions and could surprise the lot.
3.05. BLOODSWEATANDTEARS E/WAY. GREENSWARD E/WAY. both of these hold great chances, im advising e/way, both good prices at present, get on early dont see current prices sticking.
3.35. KICKINTHELILLY E/WAY. TOGA TIGER E/WAY. another couple im offering e/way, kickinthelilly goes well fresh and is on a mark 2 pounds less than last h.cap win. toga tiger is another one that goes well fresh and on a great mark. because of the absence seems prudent to offer at place value.
4.05. CYLFYMDER WIN. PENBRYN E/WAY. keep an eye on penbryn currently at 7/1 may fall.

had better days thats for sure, after a good day yesterday back down to earth. days like that keep you on your toes, only slight highlight was TRINITY LORRAINE who placed and got a little back as for the others well SCRIBE was a distant 2nd and lean on pete didnt show up. anyway no selections today as the only flat meet is southwell which for you punters know its a nightmare trying to interpret form on that surface. gave up trying there many years ago. i will be back 2moro with a spring in my step and a return to winning ways i hope lol. speak soon. if anyone has questions or comments please feel free to drop me a line.

EACH WAY THE PLACE TO BE.

The win selections didnt bear fruit today, hamis al bin went close but really should have done better. yet again its the place selections that are doing the business. AFKAR in the 2.00 got it going with a 3rd place at 12/1, then ROWLESTONE LASS in the 2.30 came 3rd at 16/1, RAY OF JOY in the 3.30 close 2nd at 8/1, but the best was kept till last with ARTISTICAL romping in at 16/1, was 25/1 shortly before post. was a shame i couldnt get this one up earlier but hadnt been home long and was cutting it fine, but for all you paper trading it was another to add to the plus column.i havnt totted up figs yet but a glance seems to show a deficit in the win column, not massive but a loss all the same, however e/ways showing a profit. i will post figures when ive completed. all in all not the worst week. with some really close calls especially the place choices it could have been a massive week but onward and upward.

SHEIKH THE REINS E/WAY. im advising both of these as place picks, there are many with chances but these two come out top and prices are so attractive its place value to good to miss. the latter really is well treated and currently 18/1 has conditions to suit. if you want the win pick i would sway with afkar but very close.
KEMPTON 2.30. FAIR COMMENT WIN. ROWLESTONE LASS E/WAY.rowlestone lass is very unexposed still and if you take a look at the winners mark from the maiden last time you will see todays mark looks generous. if it doesnt happen today i will be marking this one down for the future, really is on a great mark.
KEMPTON 3.00 BENNELONG WIN. OCEAN POWER E/WAY. ocean powers last run wasnt as bad as it may appear last time out and only went down to a really good one here 3 back. mark dropped and this makes great value, infact i have him top rated but currenly 18/1 and too good to let a place bet slip.
KEMPTON 3.30. AVONMORE STAR WIN. RAY OF JOY E/WAY. ray made a great return to form 2 back and i believe he has slipped the handicapper, we will see. there are a couple more later in the afternoon will post later.

no trees pulled up today, few jumps selections made the frame but ultimately no wins, on the flat only the one win but it was the only win selection i gave on the flat so some solice to be taken. the 3.45 from lingfield proved my undoing, i had birdman in my top three but thought the rise in class may undo him and although ran better last time really thought he would be found out in this company so plummed for dance and dance. yep birdman won at 25/1. i learn everyday in this game thats what i love about it. some of the big place bets ive given this week have come from research and learning so this will be another string to my bow.

Just been totting up results and wins are around a point up and level with the place picks, no disaster and would have been very much better if one or two had bigger nostrils they were that close especially CARRERA at lingfield today went down by a nose at 33/1. i got it at 50/1, you can imagine my face as the result was announced. at that point i wished i had a cat or dog as all i wanted to do was kick sumthing up the arse. any way i have some selections for 2moro, ive so far picked 4 races from taunton, its my home town so feel obliged to have a go plus the old man called me for a yankee so here they are.

LAST GASP

heres the last from wolverhampton and im cautiously going to take on the hot fave the blue dog. im going to give you 2 selections as normal but would advise both are taken at place value. BLAZING DESERT ran well after a long layoff a week ago and is a full 11 pounds lower than when going close back last april. also like the looks of the outsider UNCLE BERNIE, ran better than it looked lto and has been running over to sharp a distance, previously here had a slow surface which probably accounted for that run and todays conditions are as close as damn it to the close defeat back in august. mark has dropped 8 pounds and yard are going well enough to suggest this could go close. egg on face well we will see.  THIS IS THE 7.30 WOLVES.

heres another one sorry there a bit close to post time but just got in. WOLVES 5.30 CROWDMANIA WIN. no surprise to see this win and is really fancied. QUEENIES HOME E/WAY currently 5/1 and may push the fave close, has been very consistent and still on a good mark.
WOLVES 6.30. BLACKTHORN STICK WIN.  HARVEST MIST E/WAY.  infact h.mist just comes out on top for me but at 14/1 would be more prudent to advise a place bet.

RARE TWO MILER.

as ive mentioned i dont often do these longer trips but on inspection do have a liking for two of these. on the win front i would side with KEEP KICKING who ran alot better lto and is still on a workable mark o and comes out on top with my ratings, then thers an old fave in the shape of SOMMERSTURN still running consistently and at 8/1 offers great place value and comes out 2nd in my figs. oh this is the 4.05 at LINGFIELD.

HOW CLOSE WAS THAT.

wow, i really thought i was gonna cash in big time with CARRERA 2.30 LING, went down by a short head at 33/1. as i posted last night thought both my selections were worth place value and i waited till the last ten minuets to bet and got carrera at 50/1. i hope you guys did as i suggested and done it to place, me well no i picked it to win and done it to win. thats racing but im sure youll agree was worth the win selection.

LING 2.00 ICE TRES WIN.  SALIENT E/WAY. ice tres showed real improvement last time and rates highly with my ratings. salient may prove good value, needs thigs to go its way preferably a soft lead but may have comp but still believe on my ratings has every chance.
LING 2.30. CARRERA WIN. WAR BOND E/WAY. on a couple of occassions carrear has gone well fresh so break will not hinder, slow surfaces counted for him last 2 and taking ny figs from kempton 3 back. faster surface may be just the key. war bond is another who comes out favorably with me judged on run 2 back. to be honest both of these offer great place value, carrera is currently trading at 25/1 and w.bond a nice 16/1 so plenty to like.
LING 3.00. MODERNSTONE WIN. really tight race this and im taking pick to reverse placings from last wks defeat. no place value here.
WOLVES 4.30. VERY FIRST BLADE WIN. FLOW CHART E/WAY. v.first blade drops in grade ans last run is better than it appears, on a nice mark. flow chart had excuses lto and looks well treated now again the drop in class will suit, currently 5/1 and dont see it drifting much from there.

spray tan almost made the perfect start to the day going down by a length in the opener, went off at a staggering 20/1 which you can imagine had me crossing everything entering the home straight, just ran out of time really thought he would catch them. keep an eye out next time but you wont get 20s next time. right of appeal got us back on track in the next winning well and a bonus as my e/way pick of the day belle peinture finished 2nd at 20/1. excellent puck let me down in the 3rd, finshed 3rd but really would have expected better and chez vrony just caught on the line in the last. so all in all a close call in all of them but no banana. just to remind all i have a updated results page for both win and e/way picks so you can check progress. ill be back later with 2moros picks.

not the worst day today, finished level on the win selections samtu almost got up but always had faith with diplomatic. imperial spirit never ran as expected but is one i will be keeping an eye on. It was a couple of place selections which proved most fruitful with minimee following up on an encouraging run last time and went in at 5/1, but chandrayaan was the one that had me clenching, always thought he had a chance and almost got there finishing 3rd at 25/1. so onward and upward here are tommorrows selections, its an evening meet so apologies if theres any non runners but may not be back in time to adjust so posting them now, if i am back and there are n/runners i will repost another choice so pop back and check.

I have three races today, two from lingfield and one from kempton. kempton is a late meet and often throws up a few non runners nearer the off time so have resisted in looking at more, i will post any i feel worth it later so pop back if able.
