WON AND LOST IN A BLINK.

At one point i thought i had the first 2 winners yesterday started well with al khan scoring at 7/2 and believed i had the 3.30 from newcastle with baraweez but later when checking prices thought i was seeing things, the result had been reversed and baraweez was demoted to second what a choker. thats how it goes but really wanted a cat or dog around when i saw it as i fancied kicking something up the arse.
anyway i have no chance of putting fridays picks up just havnt had time tonight. i will be home early p.m. so will post what i can but apprieciate it may be a little late for some of you, sorry but thats the best i can do on this occassion.

Another two winners yesterday from just the three races advised. firstly gabrial the duke scored at 2/1 and that was closely followed by perfect mission winning at 4/1. win selections at present 14 points in profit, e/ways have just slipped into negative. lets see how we get on with this lot today coming from carlisle and newcastle.

CARLISLE 2.10 AL KHAN WIN(8/1)  ARTIC FEELING E/WAY (6/1). al khan can probably be excused last two unsuited by the track in my opinion, has had ground against also last few so can go back to last july when running very well and look at its mark now from then around a stone lighter.

NEWCASTLE 3.30 BARAWEEZ WIN(3/1)  HEAVY METEAL E/WAY(13/2). i would be amazed if heavy metal stays at this price, great form and money is sure to come for him, get on early. same could be said for baraweez this is one to back early.
NEWCASTLE 5.00 WOOODSTOCK WIN(12/1)  BLING KING E/WAY (4/1). Its possible bling king will shorten so another to get on early.

Two winners yesterday with aryal winning well at 9/2 advised at 6/1. then the predictable the cornishcowboy won as expected at 5/4 which on reflection wasnt a bad price given his last win and the fact he was 6 pounds lighter. so more profit for the win picks  albeit just a couple of points . onto today and i have just the three selections for you at present one from carlisle and two from salisbury.

BEVERLY 3.45 THE CORNISHCOWBOY WIN(6/5)  SPANISH PLUME E/WAY(7/1). cowboy is well treated on latest win, had a penalty that day and now being reassessed can run 6 pounds less than that win. spanish plume is a little high in the weights but in form and worth place money with my ratings.

June figures so far showing profit for both win & e/way selections. win picks are +10.50 points and e/ways are +2.0 points. these are at £10 level stakes. To have both in profit is very encouraging but its those win picks that im really interested in and hopefully we can be in profit for the 3rd month in a row.

Two winners yesterday with strictly silver 4/1 and token love 7/4 scoring. place money with one pekan and shore step placing. however did have a large egg thrown at me with wannabe king running no sort of race, i really fancied him but it seems recent form is his current form and the excuses i believed were there proved a negative. a large part of my selection process is based on what i consider worthwhile excuses for seemingly poor runs but doesnt always come off lol. having said that i had the same reasons for choosing ex oriente and although he didnt win he did run a good 3rd thats racing keeps you on your toes.

the one winner today with raamz scoring at 3/1 and frontline phantom following him home.gold beau got some place money back aswell at odds of 20/1. magician went well at ascot but just not good enough coming second, but its the run of argaki that took my eye, almost got there and would have given us another big price winner, he was as big as 20/1 when posted and returned at 10s. onto tomorrows picks and im leaving ascot alone nothing rocks my boat just not enough form to go with so giving you 3 races from thirsk. there are a few evening meets but will depend on my availability.

As i already posted earlier another big price winner thats 7 already this month with dolphin village scoring at odds of 10/1. on we go to weds picks and i have 3 from hamilton and just one from ascot. as much as i love ascot todays races really are too difficult to solve so its just the one.

The seventh nice priced winner of the month came today in the 4.45 from thirsk with dolphin village doing the business at great odds of 10/1. also flycatcher gave us another one scoring at 13/8. as i posted earlier he did shorten considerably from 4/1 to s/p 13/8 so depends if and when you backed it but a wins a win as they say.

Royal ascot is upon us already and should be a fantastic days racing from there. i have two races from ascot and three from thirsk. as i mentioned in a earlier post yesterday gave us yet another big price winner the sixth so far this month with diamond lady scoring at great odds of 20/1. really fancied him to go well and so he did. ok on with todays free picks.

Had to wait until the final race today but what a wait with yet another great priced winner. as posted i really fancied diamond lady to run well and was amazed he wasnt fancied in the market. he duly obliged at 20/1 and you could as posted had him at 25s when advised.

Following on from yesterdays 7/1 winner we have had another two today. eeny mac won well from the front and scored at odds of 10/1. then we had carragold who shruuged off its first run this year and scored at beverly at odds of 8/1 when advised he was as big as 16/1. top day and more profit thankyou mr bookie.

Another great priced winner yesterday with baltys boys scoring at an s/p of 8/1. when i posted he was a massive 22/1 and even this morning you could get 14/1 on him, alot of last money came in. always thought he had great chance. that was to be the solitary win but will take those everyday. with gung ho on tuesday thats put us back in profit and hope to continue with todays picks from hamilton.

HAMILTON 5.00 ENDEAVOUR WIN(10/1)  KOLONEL KIRKUP E/WAY(6/1) endeavour is another i like, been jumping of late and not totally disgraced, last june went close on the flat off a mark 3 pounds higher so well treated and could go well.

It was looking at one point that i was going to draw a blank yesterday. king of the celts which i fancied went well as i thought and just found one too good, returned at 14/1 so reasonably pleased with that one. dawn rock beacame a n/runner in the 4.10 so it was left to gung ho to save my bacon and boy he did just that winning at an s/p of 8/1, as advised you could have got 12/1 early doors. thats made up for mondays narrow misses. onto todays picks from notts.

Almost got off to the perfect start yesterday with musicora just failing into 2nd at 20/1, exzachary was disappointing, as was acapulco bay. got a bit of place money back with fieldgunner kirkup and king zeal who went well finishing 2nd at odds of 8/1. one of those frustrating days but although no winners was pleased with how some of them went, another day and they go your way. ok on to todays picks.

yet again another month in profit with my win selections which is very pleasing, unlike last month my place picks have fallen short but will note my strike rate is good just not enough race winners. my win pick strike rate isnt as good as id like, some of you may be happy with 20% but i want it nearer 30%. on average i submit approx 5-6 selections so 20% would equate to one a day but i want at least two. still cant grumble profit is profit and follows on well from last month which was an exceptional month given the time of season. any comments you have will be gratefully recieved.
