Selections today come from ascot and pontefract, lets see if we can follow on from yesterdays results.
ASCOT 2.35 RUFFORD WIN. ONE CHANCE E/WAY. Both of these are hold chances and both are nice prices, one chance is currently 22/1 and ive rated from a 5 furlong 3 starts back from which 2 have franked this form, a move up in trip is a question mark but see no reason why he cant get it. rufford really interest me, last two average but they were on flatter tracks and the run 3 back at newbury is a little more like ascot in that there are undulations and is more of a test which can play into his hands.

PONTEFRACT 3.20 WHOS SHIRL WIN. ICY BLUE E/WAY.
PONTEFRACT 3.55 LYRIC BALLAD WIN. A STAR IN MY EYE E/WAY. lyric ballad goes well fresh and i have him rated about the same in two other runs. if these ratings hold up and he is primed there could be a big run from him. currently 7/1. a star in my eye was in a hot race lto and a return to the big win from beverly with the recent run out of the way is not beyond him, big price and decent place chance.
